The mission of the “Justice and Mercy Under a Trump Administration” conference is to educate and inspire people of faith to recognize and then ACT to eliminate systemic injustice in every aspect of our church and society. Join us for a weekend of inspiring speakers and thought-provoking focus sessions. You will return home knowing that you are called to ACTION.

Keynote Presentations

Justice and Mercy Under the Trump Administration

Sr. Simone Campbell is the Executive Director of NETWORK, a Catholic social justice lobby organization and founder of Nuns on the Bus. Sr. Simone addressed the 2012 National Democratic Convention. She has been featured in the national and international media including 60 Minutes, The Colbert Report, and others.

Racism & Privilege in the Church and Society

Dr. Greer G. Gordon is a Roman Catholic theologian, author, and lecturer known for her work in the field of apologetics, evangelization, and catechetics. She’s served in administrative positions at the University of Massachusetts and Regis College. She was diocesan director in Washington D.C., Oakland, Boston, and Baton Rouge.

Pax Christi: Called to be a People of Peace

Sr. Patty Chappell is the Executive Director of Pax Christi, USA., the largest Catholic Peace and Justice movement in the United States. She was president of the National Black Sisters Conference, 1996–2001. Sister Patty was trained by Crossroads in antiracism. In 2016, Sister brought the Pax Christi USA National Conference to Baltimore.
